former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday evening arrived the Makurdi Airport for a 3 days visit to Benue.The former president who is currently a Ph.D student of University of Mkar, Mkar is expected to stay in Benue for 3 daysto receive lectures and interact withhis project supervisor Revd. Dr. Stephen Tachin (State SUBEB chairman).The former president was received at the Makurdi airport by the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Benue State Mr. Terwase Orbunde, Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment Dr. Tersoo Kpelai, that of education, Prof. Dennis Tyavyar, Health, Mrs. Cecilia Ojabo,Advisor on Special duties, Arch. JoeIkyaagba, SUBEB chairman, Revd. Dr. Stephen Tachin and other top Government functionaries.The former president proceeded to the Benue People's House where he is expected to meetwith His Excellency, Dr. Samuel Ortom.
